Annual Concerto Competition

Lakeshore Symphonic Band is proud to continue its tradition of sponsoring the Annual Concerto Competition. Student musicians from area school bands have an opportunity to audition and perform a concerto accompanied by the Lakeshore Symphonic Band at our Spring Concert.

In addition to performing a solo with the band, he or she will be awarded a $500 scholarship.

Participation is on a voluntary basis and the winner is selected through an audition process. Auditions for the 2009 concerto compeition will take place on March 18 at Grafton High School with a performance as part of our Spring Concert at the Cedarburg Peforming Arts Center on May 17, 2009.
