2010 Concerto Competition
Lakeshore Symphonic Band is proud to continue its tradition of sponsoring the Annual Concerto Competition. Student musicians from area school bands have an opportunity to audition and perform a concerto accompanied by the Lakeshore Symphonic Band at our Spring Concert.In addition to performing their solo with the band, they will be awarded a $500 scholarship.
Participation is on a voluntary basis and the winner is selected through an audition process. Auditions usually take place during the month of February and our Spring Concert is usually in May.
