Lakeshore Symphonic Band

Dr. Walter Rich is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands at Lakeland College. Prior to his current position he served as conductor of the Edgewood College Wind Ensemble. Dr. Rich received his bachelors and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in music education. He also holds a Masters degree in tuba performance from Northwestern University. Dr. Rich currently performs with the Racine Symphony Pops Orchestra and as principal Tubist for the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra. He also performs on tuba with the Waukesha Area Symphonic Band where he serves as Assistant Director.
